The venue is a flagship for sustainability, committed to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. It achieved carbon neutrality for the second consecutive year by fully compensating Scope 1 emissions and maintaining zero Scope 2 emissions through 100% renewable energy. It implements the 'Eco-Meet' program for responsible event management, focusing on low environmental impact products, energy/water efficiency, waste reduction, and carbon footprint measurement. Meliá Hotels International, its managing company, is also involved in an alliance with Gravity Wave to remove 20 tons of plastic from the Mediterranean Sea.
