Palacio de Convenciones de La Habana

The Palacio de Convenciones de La Habana, also known as the Havana International Convention Center, is Cuba's largest and most important institution specializing in events and congresses. Inaugurated in 1979, it occupies an area of 60,000 square meters in a residential district of Havana, surrounded by tropical vegetation. The center organizes, promotes, and hosts a wide variety of national and international congresses, conventions, symposia, conferences, meetings, fairs, and exhibitions. It features modernly equipped, air-conditioned halls with advanced audiovisual technology and simultaneous interpretation. The complex is also the permanent meeting place for the National Assembly of People's Power, serving as a central institution for domestic governance and international diplomacy. It has undergone modernization efforts since the late 2010s to upgrade technology, furnishings, and improve accessibility and energy efficiency. The complex includes adjacent fairgrounds (Pabexpo) and the Hotel Palco, offering comprehensive services for events.
