About this Venue
Mandalay Bay is a 43-story luxury resort and casino located at the south end of the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. It features an 11-acre pool paradise with real sand and a wave pool, world-class entertainment at the Michelob ULTRA Arena, award-winning dining, and the Shark Reef Aquarium. The resort also houses the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, one of the largest meeting facilities in the U.S., offering extensive meeting and exhibit space. Sustainability
Mandalay Bay features one of America's largest contiguous rooftop solar arrays on its convention center. Sustainability initiatives include reducing water consumption through a Linen Reuse program, water-saving toilets, and drought-tolerant landscaping. The resort also focuses on sustainable events, achieving 83% exhibit waste recycling in 2019, deactivating HVAC in unoccupied meeting rooms, and using Green Seal and ECOLOGO certified carpet-cleaning chemicals. Over 1.5 million LED lights have been installed across MGM Resorts properties, including Mandalay Bay. [14, 16, 20]
