The Hannover Congress Centrum (HCC) is one of Germany's leading congress and event centers, blending historic atmosphere with modern facilities. The Hannover Congress Centrum has been committed to sustainable development since 2007 and was the first events center in Lower Saxony to be awarded the Green Globe global sustainability certification in 2010. It focuses on the reduction of emissions, waste, and sewage water, and uses energy-saving alternatives like LED lighting. Its annual electricity requirement is covered by green electricity.
