About this Venue
The Halifax Convention Centre is the main conference centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, which opened on December 15, 2017, replacing the older World Trade and Convention Centre. It is part of the $500-million Nova Centre project, a 1 million square foot mixed-use development. Located in the heart of downtown Halifax, it offers over 120,000 square feet (11,000 m2) of flexible event space, including a 30,000 square foot ballroom, 50,000 square feet of multi-purpose convention space, and 40,000 square feet of intimate meeting space across four floors. The facility features an iconic, light-filled atrium, flexible column-free spaces, advanced data and audiovisual infrastructure, and an award-winning in-house culinary team. It is recognized as Atlantic Canada's premier venue for conferences, celebrations, and gatherings, known for its world-class hospitality and commitment to sustainability and accessibility.
