Corinthia Lisbon is committed to sustainability, focusing on reducing its carbon footprint and energy consumption. Since 2013, it has achieved a 32% reduction in energy consumption and an average annual reduction of 956,286 kg of CO2 emissions through an Energy Efficient Project. This project involved collaboration with Galp Soluções de Energia and ISQ, implementing energy-saving LED technology and improving technical areas like water reservoirs, heat exchangers, and laundry equipment. The hotel was also the first in Portugal to install electric vehicle charging stations. Its culinary team prioritizes local, organic, and seasonal produce, and the hotel actively works on food waste reduction. The sustainability strategy is built on three pillars: People, Planet, and Governance, aligning with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
