Subvention & Funding Support

Innsbruck Tourismus and the City of Innsbruck offer attractive funding opportunities for scientific congresses and association meetings. If all criteria are met, funding of up to 12,000 euros per congress can be approved. A congress funding program, newly established in 2024 by the City of Innsbruck and Innsbruck Tourism, is endowed with 100,000 euros annually. Sustainable events (Green Meetings) receive priority support with a twenty percent higher funding rate. Eligibility requires at least 100 participants or 200 overnight stays, with at least 30% of participants from outside Austrian Tyrol.
