Coex is a pioneer in Korea's green business sector, committed to environmental stewardship. They have implemented eco-friendly programs and renovations, including energy-efficient management practices, use of green building materials, and testing of commercialized green technologies like solar panels, hydrogen batteries, and wind generators. Coex launched its official Green Campaign in 2004 and formed a Green Task Force in 2008. Initiatives include rainwater re-use and gray water treatment systems, HVAC equipment replacement, and urban green spaces. They also utilize digital signage (Xpace) to reduce physical waste and offer an eco-friendly event service called 'good plan'.
