Centro de Eventos Pedregal, also known as Pedregal Convention Centre, is the largest event center in Costa Rica, located in Belén, Heredia. Sustainability
Centro de Eventos Pedregal is committed to sustainability, reinforcing plans for responsible management of recoverable waste. They maximize waste valorization by transforming polluting plastics into construction sand. The facility uses over 690kW of solar energy in its production processes, reuses 100% of its post-industrial waste, and promotes environmental solutions like draining paving blocks. They are members of the 'Plástico Circular' (Circular Plastic) initiative, aiming to remove 200,000 tons of non-reusable plastic waste by 2030 and generate environmental awareness among visitors.
