Subvention & Funding Support
The City of Salzburg provides financial support for domestic and international organizers and Professional Congress Organizers (PCOs) for congresses held in the city. Conditions for subsidization include at least 250 international participants, a minimum of 2 overnight stays in Salzburg hotels, and event scheduling in January, February, March, July, August, or December. The subsidy is EUR 3.50 per overnight stay, with 50% pre-financing available one year before the congress. Tourismus Salzburg GmbH is responsible for deciding on applications.
