About this Venue
The Petronas Twin Towers are an iconic pair of 88-storey supertall skyscrapers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, standing at 451.9 meters (1,483 feet). Designed by Argentine architect César Pelli, they were the tallest buildings in the world from 1998 to 2004 and remain the world's tallest twin skyscrapers. The towers are a major landmark and symbol of Malaysia's modernity and progress, featuring a double-decker Skybridge connecting the two towers on the 41st and 42nd floors, and an Observation Deck on the 86th floor of Tower 2. The complex also includes the Suria KLCC shopping mall and KLCC Park, and houses the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra and various corporate offices. The design incorporates Islamic motifs, reflecting Malaysia's cultural heritage.

The Petronas Twin Towers and its management (KLCCP Stapled Group) are committed to environmental sustainability. Initiatives include energy management (LED lighting, efficient fittings, Energy Audit Committee, re-scheduling of Air Handling Unit operations), responsible waste management (reducing waste generation, segregation bins, licensed transporters, supporting Malaysia Towards Zero Single-Use Plastic Roadmap), carbon management (carbon inventory, monitoring GHG emissions), and water management (minimizing consumption, reuse, preventing pollution). KLCC Urusharta Sdn Bhd, the facilities management arm, is ISO 14001 EMS certified.
