About this Venue
Hungexpo Budapest Congress and Exhibition Centre is Hungary's largest and most modern multifunctional event venue, fully renovated and expanded in 2021 with a €170 million investment. It offers 75,000 sqm of indoor event space, including a state-of-the-art Congress Centre and 8 exhibition halls, surrounded by 36 hectares of landscaped gardens. The venue is capable of hosting a wide range of events from trade fairs, congresses, and conventions to meetings, seminars, gala dinners, and concerts, accommodating up to 15,000 people. It is located 15 minutes from the city center and 20 minutes from Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport, providing flexible event spaces and comprehensive on-site services.

They encourage green transport options, use digital solutions for paperless events, and offer sustainable catering with reusable/biodegradable alternatives, local suppliers, and a permanent contract with a local charity for leftover food. Goals include reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 50% by 2030 and transitioning to green electricity sources by 2025. They also support tree-planting initiatives and local communities.
