Sustainability
ACC Liverpool is committed to becoming Carbon Net Zero by 2030, twenty years ahead of the events industry target of 2050. The campus is carbon neutral and uses 100% renewable electricity. Initiatives include processing food waste on-site or donating it to local charities, rainwater harvesting (providing 40% of flushing water), and installing air-sourced heat pumps. They also work with Greengage's EVENTsmart carbon reporting tool to measure and reduce the carbon footprint of events.
