Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat

The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH), which rebranded as the Council on Vertical Urbanism (CVU) in October 2025, is a global not-for-profit organization focused on the inception, design, construction, and operation of tall buildings and future cities. It organizes international conferences, workshops, awards programs, and walking tours, with a geographic reach spanning the globe. While its global headquarters is in Chicago, USA, it recently established a Canadian office in Toronto.
