SPL Occitanie Events has been committed to an eco-responsible approach since 2019 and is ISO 20121 certified. Their strategy focuses on three pillars: improving operation and user comfort, developing a positive impact on the territory, and reducing their environmental footprint. Initiatives include green electricity contracts, water consumption management, electric vehicle charging stations, waste sorting (2-3 streams, biowaste, bottle banks, EcoMégots ashtrays), promoting biodiversity (e.g., transformation of Place Jacques Coeur into an urban garden for rainwater management and aquifer recharge), and local partnerships for waste recycling and furniture reuse. They also provide an eco-responsible event charter to clients.

Subvention & Funding Support
The Région Occitanie is the principal shareholder of SPL Occitanie Events and has committed to an 80 M€ investment plan for the modernization and expansion of the Parc des Expositions. The State also mobilizes significant funds for festivals in the Occitanie region.
