Sustainability
PACIFICO Yokohama is committed to sustainable practices, having achieved carbon neutrality for CO2 emissions from electricity by September 2024 and for thermal energy by May 2025 through advanced energy-saving systems and carbon offsets. They aim for 100% waste recycling, currently achieving around 90%, and provide waste management reports to event organizers. Initiatives include rainwater utilization, off-grid power through solar energy, and using waste plastics and food scraps to generate electricity for Rinko Park. The Minato Mirai district, where it's located, utilizes a localized heating and cooling system to balance heat load and reduce energy consumption. They also promote sustainable menus and products.
