Hilton Rijeka Costabella Beach Resort & Spa is a luxurious 5-star seafront retreat located between the vibrant city of Rijeka and the charming town of Opatija on Croatia's Adriatic coast. Opened in June 2021, the resort offers 194 rooms, suites, and villas, all with sea views. It features six restaurants and bars, including the Michelin-starred Nebo Restaurant & Lounge, a 200-meter private pebble beach, and the first eforea spa and health club in Croatia with 3,700 square meters of wellness facilities. The resort provides innovative multifunctional indoor meeting spaces, suitable for various events and presentations, complemented by outdoor venues with sea views. Sustainability
The resort follows Hilton's global 'Travel with Purpose' sustainability program, focusing on reducing energy, water, and waste. It actively reduces waste by removing single-use plastics and transitioning to full-size bath dispensers. The hotel emphasizes locally sourced ingredients in its restaurants. It uses EU Ecolabel certified detergents, sorts waste for recycling (paper, cardboard, plastics, metals, oils, cooking oils), and applies Effective Microorganisms (EM) Technology for wastewater and sewerage treatments. Boiler rooms have been converted for increased energy efficiency, and an electric car charging station is available. Guest rooms feature 'silent' technology for comfort and energy consumption reduction, including motion sensor lighting and smart access systems.
