Heritage Awali Golf & Spa Resort

Heritage Awali is committed to sustainable development, evidenced by its Green Key certification since 2017. Initiatives include carbon-neutral stays (from Oct 2021), use of refillable glass water bottles, recycling programs, water-saving flow reducers on faucets, biodegradable cleaning products, LED lighting, solar water preheating, and smart air conditioning systems that turn off when doors are open. The resort also focuses on waste management, reducing food waste in collaboration with NGO FoodWise, and supporting local training and employment. Environmental projects include coral restoration efforts, a marine education center, and a 'Kids Reef Conservation with The Yellow Submarine' program. They also plant endemic species in gardens and plan an organic vegetable garden.
