About this Venue
The Festspielhaus Bregenz is a multifunctional international conference and event center located directly on Lake Constance in Austria. It offers 23 flexible and combinable rooms adaptable to a wide range of event formats and sizes, from conferences and corporate events to cultural occasions and trade fairs. Sustainability is deeply embedded in the company's philosophy, with a focus on resource conservation. The Festspielhaus is a certified 'Green Location' and offers 'Green Meetings & Green Events' in accordance with the Austrian Ecolabel guidelines. It also holds the ÖKOPROFIT® certificate and the Meeting Experts Green Award. The in-house catering company, evenTZ by foodaffairs, uses seasonal and regional ingredients and has been awarded the AMA Gastro Seal and the Austrian Ecolabel. The venue is also involved in the micelab:bodensee network for sustainable event development and implements measures for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Subvention & Funding Support
Kongresskultur Bregenz GmbH, which operates the Festspielhaus, is a wholly owned subsidiary of the state capital Bregenz. The Bregenzer Festspiele, a major user of the venue, receives subsidies from the Federal Ministry, the State of Vorarlberg, and the City of Bregenz. While these subsidies were subject to cuts in 2025/2026, this indicates ongoing government support for the cultural activities hosted at the venue.
