About this Venue
The Barcelona International Convention Centre (CCIB) is a leading European venue for international congresses, conventions, and events, managed by Fira de Barcelona. Opened in 2004, it is noted for its state-of-the-art architecture and modern facilities, located in Barcelona's 22@ technology and business district, facing the Mediterranean sea. The CCIB comprises two architecturally significant buildings, the Convention Centre and the Forum Auditorium, connected by an underground walkway. It offers a total surface area of approximately 100,000 m² with versatile, column-free spaces designed to maximize natural light, and a capacity for up to 15,000 delegates. The venue provides in-house services, a gastronomic offer inspired by modern Catalan cuisine, and is committed to sustainability, holding several international certifications.
