Adaaran Select Hudhuranfushi is committed to sustainable tourism, evidenced by its Green Globe Certification (achieving 87% compliance). Key initiatives include a water bottling plant to eliminate single-use plastic bottles (preventing over 100,000 bottles annually), a wet garbage digester that converts food waste into soil additives (processed 16,877 kg of wet waste into 1,525 kg of fertilizer in 2024-25), and an in-house organic vegetable garden (harvested 24,079 kg of organic produce in 2024-25). The resort also engages in tree planting, island cleaning campaigns, environmental awareness programs, and coral restoration projects. Energy-saving systems, including key card activated electricity and inverter type air conditioners, are implemented in rooms, with a program to replace lights with LED lamps.
