Abbasi Hotel

The Abbasi Hotel, located in Isfahan, Iran, is a historic five-star property often referred to as one of the oldest and most beautiful hotels in the world, and was chosen by CNN in 2017 as 'the most beautiful hotel of the Middle East'. Originally built as a caravanserai in the early 18th century (around 1700-1716 AD) during the Safavid era by King Sultan Husayn for his mother, it provided lodging for travelers along the Silk Road. The complex underwent significant renovation and modernization in the 1950s and officially opened as a hotel in 1966, preserving its unique Safavid and Seljuk architectural styles with intricate tilework, grand courtyards, and lush Persian gardens. It offers a blend of traditional Persian décor and modern amenities, serving as both a luxurious accommodation and a living museum of Persian history and culture.
