About this Venue
Located in beautiful downtown Saskatoon, TCU Place offers a creative and inspirational environment that can only be found in a world-class convention centre. Featuring 104,000 square feet of meeting space with 21 different rooms that allow unlimited configurations. Within TCU Place, Sid Buckwold Theatre is a three-tier theatre with 2,074 seats. Built in 1968, this facility has hosted international and national performers, speakers and theatrical productions. The theatre is well known for its superior acoustics and expansive stage area.

Sustainability
TCU Place is a proud signatory of the Sustainable Tourism 2030 Pledge. Their green policies focus on energy conservation (occupancy sensors, LED lighting, natural daylight, power factor correction, VFDs, modernized steam boilers, BAS upgrade), waste reduction & recycling (single-stream recycling, organic waste composting, cooking oil recycling, can/bottle return, metal recycling, 'Zero Waste' events), interior environment (local sourcing, fair trade coffee/tea, food donation, reuse of second-hand items, pallet return, recycling of batteries/electronics/paints, chemical mixing satellites), and staff/client awareness. They use carbon neutral paper products, gravity-fed paper towel dispensers, digital signage, and permanent bottle-free water coolers. Between January 1 and October 31, 2025, TCU Place diverted over 40,820 kg of material from the landfill, with 67% being organics converted to compost. They partner with environmental organizations like Discover Saskatoon for the Destination Canada Global Destination Sustainability Program.
