About this Venue
Roig Arena is a state-of-the-art, multi-purpose indoor arena in Valencia, Spain, designed to host premier sports, entertainment, cultural, and corporate events. Opened in September 2025, it serves as the new home for the Valencia Basket Club's men's and women's teams. The venue features flexible spaces, advanced technology, and a distinctive ceramic facade, aiming to be a major international cultural landmark and a catalyst for urban development in the Quatre Carreres district. It was financed entirely by Valencian businessman Juan Roig.

Sustainability
The arena's design incorporates sustainable strategies including passive cooling, photovoltaic panels on the roof (1,742 panels), and locally sourced materials, particularly ceramics for the facade. The ceramic facade acts as a sun filter to reduce thermal load. The project includes a two-hectare public park to improve the microclimate and air quality, and the parking garage uses natural ventilation and lighting. An underground water tank manages rainwater.
