Four Seasons Hotel Boston is committed to preserving and regenerating the environment. Initiatives include the elimination of single-use plastic amenities, toiletries, and food and beverage containers, a comprehensive recycling program, and an organic waste diversion program. Soaps and toiletries are recycled and donated through Clean the World. The hotel has electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, offers vegan and vegetarian menu items, and replaces linens and towels every third day unless requested otherwise. Energy-saving building systems, water conservation measures, water-efficient landscaping, and a green roof ecosystem are in place. They also support local biodiversity with rooftop beehives and offer local, sustainable, and seasonal menu items with responsibly sourced seafood. A food waste reduction program, including employee training, is also implemented.
