About this Venue
Chongqing International Expo Center is the largest international convention & exhibition center in mid-western China, and one of the top 10 largest venues worldwide, and the second largest domestically. It is a multi-functional complex integrating exhibition, conference, catering, accommodation, performance, competition and other functions, with a total construction area of 600,000 square meters, and is a modern and smart fairground.

The Expo Center adopts a comprehensive, synergistic model that balances environmental preservation with economic growth. It is positioned as a precedent-setting component of Chongqing's 'Mountain City Green Chain' program, which aims to connect open spaces to create long-term environmental, economic, and cultural value. The project includes a 'dissolved' building with a massive ecological landscape roof system and aims to restore ecological fabric and reconstruct natural processes and habitats.
