Sustainability
ADNEC Group has pledged to achieve Net Zero Carbon Events by 2050 and Net Zero Carbon Emissions by 2045. ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi is fully powered by clean energy (solar, wind, and nuclear) through a Clean Energy Trade Agreement with EWEC, offsetting all electricity-related carbon emissions. The venue implements in-house sustainability initiatives including recycling used cooking oil into biofuel, composting food waste (diverting over 75 tons from landfill annually), and investing in solar panels and water-saving technology. It has achieved a 7% reduction in electricity consumption per event, a 28% reduction in water consumption per event, and a 53% total waste from landfill diversion and recycling rate in 2024. ADNEC also uses TerraTile, a 100% recycled, modular flooring system made from event waste. The venue was certified to The PLEDGE on Food Waste standard for the 63rd ICCA Congress, achieving zero food waste to landfill.

Subvention & Funding Support
ADNEC offers additional support to planners, including unlocking opportunities with relevant partners and government entities through its protocol team, and amplification of marketing messages to a local audience via a free-of-charge marketing support package. ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi has partnered with the Abu Dhabi Convention and Exhibitions Bureau (ADCEB) to launch an enhanced support package for organizers of international corporate meetings and events with more than 500 delegates.
