About this congress
The IISS Shangri-La Dialogue (SLD) is a 'Track One' inter-governmental security conference held annually in Singapore by the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS). It serves as Asia's premier defence summit, bringing together defence ministers, permanent heads of ministries, military chiefs, government officials, legislators, academic experts, distinguished journalists, business delegates, and security experts from across the Asia-Pacific, North America, Europe, the Middle East and beyond. The forum provides a unique platform for debate on the region's most pressing security challenges, engagement in important bilateral talks, and the development of fresh approaches to security issues.
