About this congress
The International Congress on Mathematical Education is the largest international conference on mathematics education in the world. This quadrennial event is organised under the auspices of the International Commission on Mathematical Instruction and explores current global trends in mathematics education research and mathematics teaching practices at all levels. ICME-16 is set to take place in the heart of Europe—Prague, Czech Republic on July 9-16, 2028. Its venue, O2 Universum, is ready to welcome thousands of participants. A special highlight of ICME-16 will be the Regional Focus programme which will depict shared history and wealth of insights of Central and Eastern European Countries involved in the organisation of the Congress.
