About this congress
The 26th World Congress of Psychiatry (WCP 2026) will unite psychiatrists, psychologists, neuroscientists, researchers, policymakers, and mental health advocates from across the globe. Under the theme “Guided by Compassion, Grounded in Science: Psychiatry for Our Time,” the event will explore how psychiatry can remain both scientifically rigorous and deeply human in an era of rapid change and complex global challenges. It will serve as a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and inspiration, guided by the WPA 2023–2026 Action Plan. The program will feature a 'Specialist Corner' focusing on topics like psychotic disorders, affective disorders, trauma, substance use, neurodevelopmental conditions, and digital mental health, with an emphasis on healthy lifestyles and adolescent mental health.
